Cocoa tea is made from the husk of the cocoa bean, which is often discarded in the chocolate making process. During this process, cocoa beans are harvested, fermented and dried. The husks are then removed from the beans, leaving the crushed beans to transform into the much-desired chocolate. Although a by-product of chocolate making, the shells are rich in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals and serve as the base for Kokowa Infusion.
